If someone says Asian to me I always ask them to specify exactly what kind of Asian.

The Middle East is a transcontinental region centered on Western Asia, Turkey, and Egypt. A large part of Turkey is in Asia so technically some Middle Easterners are also Asian. Mind you, when I think of Asians, I think Oriental seeing as there's a billion Chinese.
