Well let's see... I see no signs that the Dems want to control the border. In fact, it sure looks like they prefer that the border be uncontrolled. So the people coming over the border, by definition, are undocumented. Now let's skip forward to election time, if anyone brings up the idea of Voter ID, the left howls wildly and claims that the vote is being suppressed for minorities including hispanics. So if the person showing up to vote, has to show no ID, and the people who are running the election just allow anyone to vote, the result is that people who are here illegally cast illegal votes. Now just which party do you think they will cast their vote for? The party that wants to secure the border, or the party that welcomed them in?

If you believe that, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. The fact of the matter is that neither the Dems nor the Republicans have ever had the will to actually control the border. And both parties have their reasons for inaction. The republicans want the cheap labor. But the Dems want the votes.
