Feels like work. Either unfollow streams where the good memes are being posted, or have too many streams to follow. Decisions!

Just for clarity. The fun stream is more gaming and repost than anything else, the other side streams where good stuff is posted have few active followers it seems. You can unfollow yes. But that leaves you with what I just mentioned. Trying to visit all the streams is work really. Trying to post in all of them is also work. Too much to keep up with honestly. I don't like that they are all lumped in together by default either, on what used to be the homepage.. I can't be the only one here.

Splitting streams was likely done to give less emphasis to all the conservative political memes that were hitting the front page. Less eyeballs seeing that point of view. Also known as Censorship.

I recall the drama leading up to the split. I don't think it's so bad to have a way for people to separate things like politics or sports and gaming. Because people may not be interested in all that. And really some folks ere tired of sifting through it, but I would rather sift through all that than have all these streams. I envisioned something better when this all began. We can file this one under "be careful for what you wish".

I will add this, the good that came from it is the more aggressive political types have become more pleasant since this change. They tend to save their venom for the political stream. I have had some nice exchanges with people whom I only ever had bad exchanges.

What I do like it the streams is that they focus posts towards those who will appreciate them. Do you want to wade through 25 pages of things you don't appreciate or understand to find a meme you like? Why would others want to do that to find your meme? Fun is so lumped together with everything that good memes get lost.

That said, I think you are right about the number of streams. They are becoming so exclusive that their followers aren't more than a few people, and some are becoming competitive, especially, Boobs, Booty and Milfs.

Growing pains of the site, perhaps. I don't try to visit all of the streams.

I've also noticed less commenting over the past few days or so. I know many have become disenheartened by the departure of capt6550, and others. Maybe it's just something local to me. Maybe people are enjoying the weather.

And you are right! It's a weird love/hate thing I have going here. I think that the original sports, politics, fun, and gaming streams were plenty. NSFW was already a thing. I think they got it right then it just bubbled over. I notice the comments also. I am a major commenter. And the action around here has decreased.

Yep, way too many.
It has become a chore to look ( and sometimes post ) in them all.

I am inclined to agree. And getting rid of some of the excess streams wouldn't do any harm, since the material posted in them is basically the same as is posted in the Fun stream.

I have noticed a bit of users posting the same meme in multiple streams. It feels like a broken record.

How can you post, or repost, a meme once you’ve submitted it? I only post and follow fun and sometimes politics when I’m triggered, lol. I figure people will post their best ideas in the fun stream.

You have to either just upload a saved meme with caption included or just make the same one again. I post in fun first (usually) then if I get a good idea after I have used mu fun submissions I will post in another stream.

I agree, I like to play around and have fun, some people are dirty on this site, I like that but not enough like minded for my liking, you seem nice tho, you helped me with my points btw ;)
