The relationship between the EU states has a legal process for individual members to leave.That is what is going on over there. I have read the Constitution, and I can't find the part that says, "If you racists want to continue to own other human beings, go ahead and leave." Would you care to point me to that? What the EU has is more like the Articles of Confederation, enacted in 1781, which were superceded by the Constitution.

They didn't have enough weapons, at the outset. A shortage of weapons and gear, not enthusiasm caused them to have to turn away volunteers. In fact, they had to conscript men by the second year of the war and used slaves for some jobs. Reading history is a burden. But, it keeps one from being embarassed by saying something that is incorrect because one simply does not know the truth.

You made a broad statement in your meme that had no context. They deserted have heavy losses and a lack of food, as well as terrible conditions at home, not because of a flag that's all i was saying.
