What’s her problem with cauliflower? That sh*ts good, especially with cheese sauce

She told her fanbase that the growing of cauliflower is a type colonialism.

Why?

I suppose because cauliflower was brought to the Americas with colonists. Weird though; she boasted this last week about growing spinach and swiss chard, both which were also imported vegetables. I have a suspicion she may just hate the taste of cauliflower!

I love it with or with out the cheese and have been known to turn it into pizza crust.

Or you can turn it into rice. Now THATS good eatin

It's good. You just gotta coat it in oil or butter first. I do that to my broccoli sometimes.

Just use a cheese grater or the shredder attachment on a food processor to grate it up, then steam it or do what ever you like.

You're welcome! I will say though, one head of cauliflower makes a crazy mess of "rice". I see no problem with adding an egg and bread crumbs to the left overs and making fried cauliflower patties.

I always had my doubts about it too. It can taste like a foot if it's not done right. I have had some be just awful.

I reckon this is where I bite my tongue and not ask you how you know what foot tastes like?

The "rice" is the best of all of them I think. I like to go about as if it were going to macaroni and cheese and just use cauliflower instead of macaroni noodles.

Sauteed with broccoli and carrots and peppers in olive oil and garlic slices till nicely singed sounds good to me. Squeeze some lemon, yay!

IT's nice here as well, thankfully. It's hot but a little cloudy. A little sneezy too. I don't know if Ga has a season with out pollen.

I just remember Home Depot has self checkouts, so maybe I'll go for a walk, see the plants on sale...

Yesterday clocked round 88 & humid, then storming. Today, upper 70s, nice.
No sneezing for me, but something while gardening - like dead leaves - gets me coughing. Not sure if maybe pollen too affects me like that, some mild allergy I have but never tested for.

I hated it as a kid but I love it now. Same with steamed broccoli.
