Don't allow newly created accounts w/o experience to post in the politics stream is all it takes.

those users may post after a freeze period of - say 30 days or 2 months.
they may get there earlier if they achieve a minimum experience of - say 20,000 or 25,000 points by socializing a lot in the fun stream.
A rule designed to counter the avalanche of troll account creations which will only grow bigger in 2020; would hardly harm well-meaning users but for some latency. A minor concession compared to the annoyance right now that concerns every user.

account-deleting does nothing if you can create and make use of a new account the very same day.
