Stream Post Requirements

I haz the dumb. Help please.

this is a meme directed to the imgfip administration to finally take action.
there's dozens of newly created accounts and/or alt accounts in the politics stream on a monthly basis, popping up only to troll, harrass and play up.
Users are helpless and can't do nothing about it - we can't block anyone.
Politics MODs could prevent them from showing up by simply not allowing new users to post in the politics stream.

THAT I already understand, and whole heartedly agree. It was the toggling thing I did not understand.

You can only toggle that checkbox if you're a MOD in that stream.
so you may toggle it in your own stream - but you can't in the POLITICS stream - unless you're a MOD in that stream.

AHHHH... I see now. Geesh.... Surely they realize what huge problem this is. In fact it is these same trolls that made the community scream and yell for politics to be separated in the first place. Had they not been so rampant I doubt anyone would have cared. Yeah. This needs to be implemented. OR at the very least we should be able to block obnoxious users. That would solve a lot of problems!
