And you'd know that if you did your homework on a talking point before you repeated it. Don't just blindly repeat what you hear: Google it. What IS the story of identifying genders of human remains in archaeology research literature?

Because without doing your homework, you just show that you're repeating something you think sounds true while taking no time at all to think about whether it is. Why would you tell on yourself like that?

The distaste in Judeo/Christian religion for men dressing as such apparently grew out of a negative reaction to it since it was part of this 'enemy' religion.

It's always been a weird thing with people. The Vedic texts straight up say that there have always been people who aren't necessarily men or women, but in conservative Indian culture you'll still get people who just don't want to hear that transgenderism exists.

I have guesses as to why transphobia is such a flashpoint that conservative people will make it the hill to die on, but nothing that I would call knowledge.

Was at least two I saw, not sure if more, just figured that was the tip of the torrent as they usually turn out to be. And I would love to see Cue Card Central for them, "Today, say: AOC said cows must be taught to fart into pipes gong into the ground to stop Global Warming"

That last part is a good question. I'm not sure.

However, I have doubts Britain (or anyone) could have so throughly altered the mores of such a large and varied place & population.

On transgenderism, I'm not sure - more generally, it depends heavily on which part of India. Some were quite prudish even before the British showed up, while the odd kingdom here and there kept the spirit of '69 going through the ages.
