It's true, though; he was one of the best memers, and a really nice man to chat with. When I began here, he really helped me out - and there are many other users who can say the same.
Apparently he left a few months ago, because he didn't like the way the moderators were running the place (they had, I think, unfeatured one of his memes). I had been hoping he would eventually come back, but I don't believe he ever will.
But imgflip is lessened without him. I wish that you could have met him :)
