Planned Parenthood's goverment funded operating funds are separate from charitable donations to Planned Parenthood's activist wing.

Politician's salaries are less than two hundred last I've heard unless things have changed much in recent years. They also make money the Capitalist way -
investments, speaking engagements, book sales, etc.
As for investments, they had been legally allowed illegal insider trading information, giving them an edge over regular investors. Moves were being made to stop this a few years ago, not sure what finally came of it.
They're also allowed to pocket undeclared up to $250 per day from lobbyists. Yup, no taxes on that.

Foundations are used for what their purposes are. They are not bribery machines.
