Your link is a straight news report. Never said it was not reported. My statement was about the lack of outrage.

It is already illegal for either shooter to process a gun. Schools are already gun-free zones. Murder is already illegal. How much more illegal can you make it? What new gun law would have stopped this shooting? None.

The point is, where are all the lefties calling for mental health support for people with a mental illness suffering from Gender Dysphoria, where is the outrage about radical far-left extremists. Crickets!

In the article you linked to it stated that one of the shooters was a woman who thinks they are a man.

The other shooter, according to news reports, had postings on the web praising Obama and spouting violence toward Trump.

So where is the outrage when one is mentally ill and the other is a far-left extremist.

I think that mental illness had more to do with the shooting than the guns did. I say that because anyone who tries to murder another person for no reason is mentally ill. I carry a gun at all times and have never shot anybody. So just having a gun does not mean you shoot somebody. You have to be mentally ill to do that for no reason.

Now was that brought on by having gender dysphoria, I don't think we know yet, but since we already know the one shooter was suffering a mental illness, that could be a good bet.

As far as the other shooter, I don't think being a far-left extremist necessarily means you are mentally ill, but shooting someone for no reason does kind of point that way.

I am sure bullying was involved. When your 16 and start having a delusion that you're a boy when everybody has known you for years, and know that you're a girl, I bet you take some heat.

As Deadboxprime said, by your own admission, transgenderism is purely a mental condition where the brain is in conflict with biological reality, like manic-depression, or schizophrenia. Why do some people ignore it for what it is, a mental illness?

Your last comment intrigues me. If your brain is "wired closer to the sex you identify as" but your body is genetically the other sex, then obviously the two are in conflict. It seems likely to me that some combination of genetic predisposition and developmental influences have resulted is this crosswiring, in which case it would the wiring of the brain that is aberrant.

Please help me understand the reasoning behind the idea that the brain's wiring in this case is supreme, while the body's genetic code is considered to be the "wrong" gender.

The definition of a delusion, according to the Oxford English Dictionary, is "An idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder."

This girl has an idiosyncratic belief she is a male. However, she has no Y chromosomes in any cell of her body, she has a uterus, va**na, fallopian tubes, she produces eggs but no sperm, she has no prostate gland, no p**is, and no testicles. Reality and biological science say this is a female.

Kinda fits the definition of delusion.
