Oh yeah, I've heard chefs say the same. However you can't compare the heath of welding with heath of the weather. There are professions where even higher temperatures play a role. 100 C as weather temperature (and weather temperatures are only valid when measured IN THE SHADOW)... I don't think anybody can survive that, not to mention that drinking water is then impossible too as it will boil. In fact, you'd be boiled alive. A welder can put his torch down when the temperature is getting unhealthy (and wears protective clothes too)... When the weather is 100 C, there's no way to run or hide...
