I always wished that I was a little more outgoing.

I grew up around adults. My father is a retired newspaper publisher and we always had people over for cocktail parties. Learned very early they were just another body. The intelligent were interesting, the self-centered tended to be bores.

I don't really know why I'm so introverted since most Irish people are particularly outgoing. I have two brothers and they're both quite the opposite of shy. I don't see it as a bad thing though 🙂I can see what you mean about the self centered I can't think of a more unappealing quality in a human being.
