I’m sure they stole lots of stuff, I just don’t remember hearing a lot about it.
As far as the note the guy left, it was taped to my door. Yes, you’re absolutely correct that anyone could walk up and read it, but those notes usually said they would try again tomorrow, or I could go pick it up. I was pissed that I missed him, but was happy he left it.
That was before internet tracking number stuff, at least for me :-)
