What is the point of your meme and statement? Who cares? Regardless of who was in office, under the circumstances NOT investigating would have been a serious breech of duty. Exactly how has the investigation not worked out? It found what it found. That was the purpose of it.

The purpose of the investigation was to protect Hillary Clinton and a futile attempt to reverse the 2016 Election .

If the Mueller report was on Hillary you can be sure impeachment proceedings would have started a year ago. Hillary had absolutely no power to begin an investigation. NONE. The investigation was begun by Trumps own actions when he fired Comey.

In what world would the investigative process reverse the 2016 election and put Hillary in power? Do you know anything about how our system of government operates?

The biggest lie about the investigation was when it started .

Oh let me guess, you're a dossier believer. The Dossier was only a single piece of many other pieces of information that gave the go ahead to the investigation. From what we've learned so far, much of it has been proven true. Only in the last couple months has anything in it been proven false.

The Dossier was created to justify a phony investigation

Throw the Dossier out. There was still enough to begin the investigation. Throw it all out other than Trumps own actions. There was still enough to start the investigation.

All the Dossier is to you is an excuse. It's a lame excuse. Stop using it.

No there wasn't ! The F.B.I. leaked the Dossier to the propaganda wing and then used articles and press reports from it to make it look true . The Inspector General , currently reviewing the FISA Warrants , already came to the conclusion that all the information came from the same source . Somebody's got a lot of 'splainin' to do !

1. Trump repeatedly downplayed the Russian threat before being elected
2. During an interview when Putin was deemed a murderer, Trump said, "you don't think we kill people too?"
3. Trump to this day, is still openly combative toward Sessions recusing himself and not protecting Trump. Says he would have hired someone else.
4. Trump fired Comey and says, "It was because of this Russia thing".
5. Virtually every one of Trump's associates visited, has ties to, or met with Russians.
6. Trump lied about his Russian hotel deal. Said he, "Had no business dealings, future business dealings and was making no plans for deals" when he was still making a deal on his Moscow hotel.
7. Trump believes Putin over American agencies who all say there was Russian involvement in our election, during that hopelessly pathetic news conference where he sucked his dick for the world to see.

These are just a few instances and reasons to investigate. The list is endless.

The straw that began the investigation was firing Comey.

You are so naive and uninformed . The bogus investigation had been going on for 9 months before Comey got fired . What Herr Mueller found when he started investigating were a report from Comey and Strzok stating that in 9 months of investigating , most of it illegal , they had found nothing . Comey's firing started the Obstruction of Justice charge which is now moot because if there was no crime to begin with then what did Trump obstruct ? Keep dreaming .

The 35 people and 3 companies indicted, the 7 found guilty of crimes and the 14 ongoing investigations say you have zero credibility.

Seeing those had absolutely nothing to do with the original reason for the investigation, you and others that push that have zero credibility.

Nearly every single one of those indicted had Russian connections and Russian relations that got them into trouble. There is only one or two with crimes NOT related to Russia.

If they commited crimes, then by all means punish them. Politics is a dirty business on all sides.
