Perhaps some see it that way. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't a woman taking a pill mean she's pretty much available anytime? I think self control involves a little more abstinance.

Birth control isn't even all that necessary, it's the feminist and pharmaceutical companies that have convinced women it is. It actually promotes promiscuity and masks/ compounds any health problems a woman may have. If a woman tracks her cycle and abstains on the days she is fertile or likely to concieve (maybe 10 days out of the month) I know couples who have successfully avoided pregnacy without any contraceptives for 5, 10 or more years. It takes much more knowledge of biology, ones own body, communication between the man and woman and mutual self control. Things the pill can never claim to offer. It's the biggest lie that birth control puts the women in control. It actually does the opposite.

Did you know there was a study begun for a men's form of"the pill" but because so many men complained of side effects it was immediately halted. Meanwhile women are dying from the effects of contraceptives and even abortion because men want to have freedom over women's bodies and women are convinced is the only way to keep a man. Sad times
