The Barr summary directly quotes the report. In that quote it says the investigation did not establish collusion.

It's as if the definition of "summary" is lost on people.

The purpose of the investigation was to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election and to determine if the Trump campaign colluded with any foreign government. As this is the overarching theme of the investigation, it makes to highlight the findings of the theme. Which was done by showing the direct quote which stated the investigation found no evidence of collusion.

If you were in charge of dismantling a bomb and there were detailed instructions from your boss on how to do so, would you read those instructions or the summary from some random guy that says “cut the red wire”?

Why so much resistance and toxicity if Trump is in the clear? Wasn’t he on board with releasing the full report at first? Now he’s on his “witch hunt” bandwagon just to feed his lemmings again.

To be frank, I don’t anything is going to happen to Trump anyways even if democrats do find something. I mean look at Nixon and everything he did that should have locked him up for life. He got impeached and then he got his charges pardoned.

A three page summary of 300+ Page report is a piss poor summary in my opinion. That’s all

I believe so yes. Most likely classified intel being redacted. I believe any questionable redactions will have to be explained. Though I’m not sure there will be any.

Well, that was reasonably quick. Hey, I'd like to see the whole truth as much as you. Hopefully it'll be clear enough that rational people on both sides can agree that it either clears Trump or leads to more questions if it seems whitewashed.

Oh okay. So how may pages would have been sufficient? I ask because it seems that everyone who says "the summary is too short" never states how long it should have been.

Being a person that writes many research articles and the sheer scale of this report being hidden from public eyes, I can only give a outsiders perspective answer.

Every teacher I’ve ever had would expect 10% minimum of the number of pages in the main reports whether it be media, government, fictional, or scholarly reports.

In this case 30 pages would have been more appropriate. It lessens the speculation of skimming and cherry picking that way. I mean some democrats are going to go full tin foil hat anyways and nothing will change that.
