I shall make it worse on ya. I've seen the same thing in Dutch to "criticize" people who actually speak Dutch natively, and the "your English is terrible" argument has also been used by people who don't even speak English natively. And then even more worse, I've once seen that argument being used, and I could (without looking for long) point out 5 spelling/grammar errors in the "Your English is terrible" post (only to have somebody else telling me that I missed 4 more errors). Well aside from English and Dutch I also speak a little bit French and German, and frankly, I don't care if I use "le" and "la" correct in French or "Die", "Der" or "Das" in German, as my prime concern is that they understand me. In English I'm stricter on myself, but I'd like to meet the first person who can write at least say 50 pages of text in English without 1 single error in them (regardless if English is their native language or not). Nobody speaks a language perfectly. And if they say "you're english is terrible." (I can see 3 errors in that one, and I quote this literally) I have an even bigger laugh :P
