If you're asking if for real he's gay? I don't know - I have seen some purely gossip stuff online about him checking into hotels w/ Rock Hudson all the time in Colorado but who knows? I'm sure it was more common than people knew back then.
If you're asking if for real that's how I reacted, yeah, but not because I'd really care whether someone was gay or not but because, you know, John Wayne is the paragon of manliness & it was shocking to hear that he was into dudes.
