There would be no easy way to accomplish a merger between modern and archaic legal systems. Behavioral standards alone would be a problem. Judged by modern standards, Mohammed would be a registered sex offender and wanted for international war crimes.

Most of the respected historical figures would be in real trouble, if judged by modern standards. Unless they were high level political figures, they have special laws.

I have yet to see a single Christian demand "Christian Law" I don't even know what that would be.

Nice try but really? Not a one of those are Christian laws, the best I could give you is someone claiming to be a Christian attempted to justify their own laws and claim the Bible supported it.

I know those types of people are out there but that is my point, they are way out there. There is no mainstream Christian group pushing their own legal system. There can not be a Christian law until Christ says so. I guess all those people will just have to rant on.

Logic fallicy. Islam requires Muslims to follow sharia law, Christians are commanded to follow commandments, not laws but also have free will. Although homosexuality is considered a sin by most Christians it is not unpardonable or an automatic ride to hell, gays are to be treated as anyone else, same rights, respect etc. Christians view everyone as having sinned, even other Christians.

Sharia law calls for the death of homosexuals. To be fair, in most modern Islamic countries they do not carry it that far but in others just being branded as gay ends badly.

Unless you see Christians tossing homosexuals off of roofs or stoning them your comparison remains invalid.

I agree but I was talking about the Christian doctrine, it tells them to love everyone, many still can't do it though. Not having heard them speak, I suspect what they say in public goes against their own doctrine. Sadly, that is common.
