It boggles my mind that there are those who even argue against the concept of #The_People becoming the legislators themselves, which is essentially what arguing against Direct Democracy is. So if we aren't capable making our own decisions who is, a dictator, monarch, cartel, theocracy, oligarchy, parliament, congress? So they're telling us any of these people or bodies of people are better than the people themselves to make decisions that can gravely impact our lives? How Absurd!
Either these people are agents of those who it does not benefit a #Direct_Democracy to manifest, or these critics are confused, purposefully our otherwise. Regardless #Frederic_Bastiat makes his point quite eloquently, which I will put simply, if we are flawed people, so are they.
