Are we conditioned to say it, built in, or is it in us as we knew it all along (Romans 1:19-20)?

Not so if it is said most spontaneously. And to answer your question, no I don't believe in any of them.

But then why do I use those names of days? The difference here is spontaneity. We're not taught to say "Oh my G-d" as a reaction to a sudden event but we say them automatically.

Yes, true; as easily as we used the word "Like" to our chagrin; but in the moment of utter shock or awe we don't so easily say "My oh my goodness" or "Holy Cow" as we do with the other.

Nor do I wager that outside the West, we do not say the name of our god/goddess by name, but the generic term, "god".

You're not going to bar me from answering you as you've done the last time, yes?

What last time? I'm the worst with names.

I can't bar anyone, it's an automatic thing the site does which makes no sense.

I redid my comment anyways, made it less snide and prickish.
I was being too offensive.

It's at our first engagement, the subject about Absolute Truth.

Your response was:

I am me.

I also did not say such a thing.
I merely pointed out the story to highlight this so-called absolute morality as decided by a jealous wrathful tyrant God.

On the top right, there's a "flag" hyperlink, then there's "reply" after it. I did not see the latter so I assumed you've disabled my ability to "reply".

Ok, I realize that was a bit harsh, especially in light of something I just told someone else....

Routinely saying, "Oh my God" would seem something a violation of taking the Lord's name in vain even though "God" is technically a title as opposed to a name like "Yahweh." But by intent it IS stated as a name. Plus "Oh my God" tends to have the tone of cussing. So that doesn't make it any better on that front.

People also say "Holy shit" a lot, does that mean shit is holy or a God?

That's OK; we do carry with us past experiences.

And you are correct in saying that despite it being a term of technicality it's still generally regarded as God's name. I do not; but nevertheless use it with care as it is calling out to Him.
