(And how do you become a moderator?)

The owner of the stream has to invite you to moderate, and then you just have to accept. You don't really do much as a moderator (especially in such a small stream as Recreation), but if you want to be a moderator you'll have to ask Craziness_all_the_way.

oh... ok.What does a moderator do?

The moderators are supposed to be there to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Basically, their powers are limited to deleting comments and images in the stream they moderate.
In some streams, memes have to be approved before they get featured. The mods do this too.

Ah, Well, this stream doesn't require the mods to approve memes. Most don't.

Some streams have an option to only feature memes that are approved. Like fun and the other main streams or if the owner chooses it. Otherwise it's just a title and you can delete memes or comments.
