I would agree, but the thought is incomplete. Let's say Sean Hannity made up a hoax hate crime in Chicago. Hannity is wealthy and famous. Do you think the charges would be dropped in ObamaLand? Probably Not.

Surely, wealth and fame does play into this. But its also a strong home court advantage.

Dear KalenaAleka, I agree with you. Blacks have been hurt by racism. It's horrible. I hope it doesn't happen again. But I did nothing to hurt you. I made a meme so others would laugh. The people could have been black or white. I showed how those in high places are treated differently than regular folks —BLACK or WHITE. That's the problem: When you group someone with others, that is RACISM. You're the one that played the race card. We are all brothers & sisters in the eyes of God. Learn to forgive. thank you for ur thoughtful and thought -provoking reply. i am bitter-- that soooo many times priviledged whites r treated differently and a case of a minority (in this context) is perhaps given privileged treatment the response is so extreme it is hypocritical.

i long for a time when we r all brothers and sisters in the eyes of our fellow humans.

i may yet be in a "prison" but i do see the door. it is locked now. just for now not forever.

Start by being thankful for all you do have. And stay away from the bad eggs. I often think that when I am down more mean folks are drawn to me. If you stay positive you can win. I want you to. There are people (even here) who are just mean. But in every group there are ones who hurt others. Maybe it is because they have been hurt. Don't let them get you down. Believe in yourself.
