I'll make a major assumption and trust you on NYC being "Safe", even though it's obviously not. Even IF New York wasn't dangerous, what about all the other examples I listed? And it's not just them, I could go on for hours with a list of high crime cities that only got that way AFTER Democrats started making it hard to get guns there. Also cities like Plano, Texas (Which has the highest gun ownership rate per person) is one of the safest places to live with one of the lowest violent crime rates in the whole country.
