How about those falsely accused, there was a story a few years back about a girl who's mom caught her masturbating and was convinced there was no other reason she would be masturbating other then if she was raped, so to get rid of her mother she pointed to the neighbor boy who moved away a few years back thinking they would not be able to find him. Surprise, the mother went to the police and they had no problem finding the boy who was an adult at that time (was 16 at the time the incident allegedly happened). He spent years in prison based on the word of the girl and her mother alone until the girl's conscience caught up with her and she admitted she made it all up. This sort of thing is not uncommon, charges of pedophilia are one of the easiest ways to put someone innocent in jail, people tend to believe children and those children are often coached by unscrupulous parents.

That guy was convicted, he spent 4 years in jail for that crime, would have served the whole sentence had the girl's conscience not caught up with her, it was closed and shut case, the only reason he was released was that the girl fessed up to what she did.
