In 2016 race was reported for 5,770 known hate crime offenders, of these offenders: 46.3% were white, 26.1% were black.
Total population 325 million - 13% (black) = 42,250,000
5770 hate crimes / 26% black = 1,500/42,250 = 0.0000355 X 100,000 to get per capita = 3.55 per 100,000 OF THE BLACK POPULATION

Do the same for the white total 2,600 / 204,750,000 = 0.0000127% X 100,000 = 1.26%
8% included in the white category were Hispanic or Latino so that actually brings to White total to 1.07%

So out of every 100,000 White Americans you have 1.07 hate crime arrests compared to 3.55 of Black Americans. That was my argument.
