Exactly. But.... They can't just give up. I've never gave up and I've played through all the gen 3 games without giving up. I'm the Champion in both the Kanto games and Hoenn games in the gen 3 games. And I used only common Pokemon in the Hoenn games. So... Yeah....

Exactly! If they push through, they can do it! It's not THAT hard. I lvl 100ed my starters in both games, and it wasn't even that difficult. Tedious? Holy frick, yes. Long? You bet. Hard? Not really.

I didn't do that in the Hoenn games. I just bought 40 revives and hyper potions and used them on my level 75 Pokemon.
