thanks, i just hit half a mil last week and now have had a couple rockstar memes, 50k points came fast! not sure what i did, but hey i'll take it.

I haven't had a real poplular one in a while

i hadn't either till last week or so, i was actually getting a bit discouraged...then BOOM it's like all of a sudden things got better.

I'm actually starting to get to that point myself mostly because of how rampant the upovte begging and reposts have gotten lately...I was actually thinking of taking a couple weeks off just so maybe things would seems fresh again...

the comment section is what keeps me engaged, but it helps if you have a successful meme or two that sort of validates your creativity. as we've discussed many times it is definitely frustrating to see the original good stuff pushed to the bottom in favor of reposts and upvote begs.

I'm actually thinking of posting an actual piece of shit to go along with all of the other crap that's been at the top recently...Theres one on the front page that I've had saved on my drive for years; it wasn't even altered in any way.
That's the sort of stuff that gets frustrating too...especially when there's a section dedicated to reposts

if it was then pure coincidence, i found the image on google but it was uncaptioned...i really try not to use stuff that's already been done and if i do then i try to make it my own take or at least give credit. it's hard for me to see even some of the top users putting out reposts. If you caption it right i bet a turd would do well...sad as it is.

I don't want to be that guy and start calling people out, but most of what this person posts is pretty much a straight up repost.

I wouldn't call anybody out anyway, it wouldn't do any good long term. Especially for myself.
It's like that recent uovote begging post, everybody fell for it, that guy went around bragging about it, but in a week nobody is even going to remember who that person is.
All I can really really do is downvote and move on I figure. I just don't want to keep having to downvote. I never dow voted anything until a few weeks ago
