the failure of our fourth estate to inform the public to make at least informed decisions has allowed the more radical elements from both the right and left to become more...virulent..and ideologically rigid.
they become so ensconced in their own echo chambers,that any differing and varied opinion is seen as "the enemy".

it is this concentrated:hyper-partisan,over the top nationalism.
that created an atmosphere ripe for a Donald trump,or even a sanders.
we can go back to Obama's "hope and change" to get a glimpse on the American peoples desire to "get their country back".

the American people are the most propagandized and most surveilled.
and the failure of our media has helped,practically single-handedly,to radicalize a portion of our population.
