How is this a strawman? This is literally what some leftists are saying about Dr. Seuss (and other writers who are "uninclusive"). These same people then get all bent out of shape when white writers DO try to include people of color - arguing that it's "cultural appropriation" because white people don't and can never understand what it's like from their perspective; and get offended if they perceive even the slightest stereotype.
