Yeah, the point is that Westboro Baptist are terrible Christians, and the UMC's decision affirms them.

I wouldn't exactly call Fred Phelps and Al Gore buddies. Aside from the fact that Fred Phelps is dead and therefore isn't anyone's buddy right now, they haven't seen eye to eye on LGBT rights in over 20 years.

Gore and Phelps used to be best of pals, Phelps even stayed over his house.Then Phelps hated everyone.
