I'd like to talk about solutions. Many of usin this group think Direct Democracy is a Large part of the answer when it comes to political justice. Well getting that fully implemented is quite the challenge.
So here is one possible step/solution we can employ. Nader's been at the process of trying to hold government to account to the democratic process about as Long as anyone. But when he says "Majority opinion" just how does he think we're going to assess that?
Well, if our own government won't give us Direct Democracy there's no stopping us from creating an organization of our own to access the will of the people then applying pressure on the legislature, and president for that matter, to do exactly that, the will of people.
If a micro minority of people can control us through financial means and the institutional apparatuses that they apply pressure on, we can do the same via people power. We're just going to have to get a lot more organized.
