The conservatives actually kicked him out for being a racist and he had to start his own association because no one on the right would have anything to do with him. In fact he spoke out against Trump and most prominent conservatives for their support of the Jewish State and Jews in general. And his views on Israel are almost completely aligned with prominent Democrat figures and Clinton advisers. Despite the best attempts of the left to align him with Trump or his supporters, there's really no connection. 2016 had no influence on his beliefs whatsoever, and he was purposely shot into popularity by leftist media in order to try to support their claims of racist Trump supporters. If he had any spread in influence, it is entirely through their efforts.
