I was impressed with this click bait headline until I read his account and found out it was a smaller cat than I envisioned. Should have just stuck to the headline.

Even a smaller mountain lion is a big deal - that is still a LOT of claws and teeth and seeing as how people are basically bags of water.. did you know the romans trained their legionaries that a puncture of 1/4 inch was enough to be fatal in the right areas? Now take that into consideration when you have twenty half-inch claws raking at you.

I've been attacked by a coyote and a bobcat (the same weight class we're talking about). It was nothing to brag about, which was the point. I could've killed either but just subduing them was enough to make them take off running. I get it, lots of claws, and rabies in one of my cases. Still didn't turn it into a click bait headline.
