This is funny. See,liberals can be fair,contrary to what liberal bashers claim. But you asked(Well sort of)-so I'll give you the answer-though I know you're not gonna like it! Habitat degradation & over development is driving mountain lions to den in attics or under houses. As Douglas Tallemy says, "We have taken it all!" Everytime a wild area is developed the inhabitants must move on. Until there's nowhere left to go. The glacier fed streams are drying up. The rains have been replaced by droughts. Animals can smell water,and they follow the scent right to your hose,fountain,fish pool or even dog bowl! In addition, the garbage we put out attracts small animals that a mother mountain lion can use to help train her kits to hunt. A den in an attic or under the house shelters the kits,and it may even be cooler if the house isnt well sealed,so that soothing drafts of AC cooled air may lure mountain lions (or foxes,coyotes,raccoons, etc..) to reside under your home our to haunt your attic.
