Having realized all blues used to be like this, I don't consider the later electric stuff blues.
Bought a bunch of CDs couple of years ago (from Music Choice catalog), stored away since I hadn't bought a stereo and I was supposed to be moving, I still don't know who is who, but I got a bunch.
Same with Country & Western. I got Bear Family Co box sets, the Carter Family, etc, and there is no going forward since they plugged it in.
I'm the reverse of the trend - in recent years I check stuff out on YouTube that I bumped into in catalogs or eBay, IndieVinylDen, etc, buy it, and store it away.
I still try listening to them on YouTube, but other crap keeps coming up in my feed instead of my likes, so I keep veering into different directions.
