Can you AT LEAST see that "newborns" implies that they've already been born? I get that the whole life-starts-at-conception nonsense isn't going away on a meme site, but if you do nothing else with your misleading terminology, can you at least see that they're not newborns until they're, you know, newly born?

On this legislation that allows the right to terminate the baby's life up to birth and afterward, Northam said the following (HIS words, not mine):
"If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."
You can try casting dispersion on my "terninology" all you want, but don't claim the babies he is talking about are not newborns because they happened to survive and be born despite the abortionist's efforts. A newly delivered infant is a newborn.

Oh. You're being VERY deceptive.

"No woman seeks a third trimester abortion except in the case of tragic or difficult circumstances, such as a nonviable pregnancy or in the event of severe fetal abnormalities, and the governor's comments were limited to the actions physicians would take in the event that a woman in those circumstances went into labor," Ofirah Yheskel, Northam's spokesperson.

What's going on is that these newborns are not going to survive one way or another - so this is a WHOLE other issue here. And a combination of outdated laws and shamers like you are forcing parents and doctors to draw out the infant's life for as long as possible, achieving nothing and ultimately just creating more grief than necessary for the parents. So the bill allows more freedom - remember that whole thing? Freedom? - for the doctors to really advise parents on the scope of the situation they're in.

So it's actually worse than using the wrong terminology - you're just plain being dishonest. This isn't even an abortion issue.

You're the deceptive one. Northam has perhaps misrepresented House Bill 2491, but his personal statements are his own. And he made those statements in regard to questions over what has been officially implemented as abortion legislatuon. The legislation may not be as pro-eugenics as Northam presents himself, but this was not my point. His savage view is.
