Pastor Fred Phelps (WBC founder) was actually a civil rights attorney , mainly for poor black ppl. He ran for state rep (Dem) 3 times (lost) and was very good pals with Al Gore at 1 time, even sleeping over at his house.(theres a good meme there lol)
