There are problems with the electoral college, but the only time someone has a problem with it, is when they lose.

Look into how that works. Dems wont win like that. They usually win stated by greater margins. Just the way the states are set up, it is much more likely for a red pres to win that way.

democrats are usually more condensed into fewer states. There are more red states, but more democrats. Blue states have more people, but electoral college isn't exactly based on the population. Lets say if in state a, 95% voted for Clinton, in state b, 40 percent, and in state c, 48 percent. Trump still won 2 of those states. Electoral college votes in almost every state are winner takes all. Hope that helps :D
