New Theory! He wants to keep the government shutdown. Why?
There are a lot of useless government agencies, programs, and Workers. If Trump wanted downsize the government he'd have to dissolve the agencies, the programs and fire the workers. This would be Extremely difficult. The public outcry would be tremendous.
But, he could achieve the exact same results by forcing a government shutdown. All of the non-essentials wouldn't receive payment and neither would the agencies. Furthermore, the public would find out that these non-essential agencies and programs really don't impact their lives, at all. They'd instead realize that these non-essential agencies really are just a drain on the government and the taxpayers.
When Trump finally does decide to reopen the government by calling a State of Emergency he can start trying to dismantle these wasteful government programs and he can say "Hey, we did just fine without them, let's just get rid of them." He is the man that made "you're fired" popular, after all.
My question is: What's more damaging to the Dems and their Globalist agenda - A border wall or the dismantling of big government?
The way the respond once they realize the impact of the government shutdown, which i'm sure they have, will give the answer. They may decide to give Trump his 5.7 billion or they may decide to keep the government shutdown.
We live in very exciting times.
