Yeah,you've got a point there.

I think that humanity would overall be much better if more poeple ate less meat, but if you want to eat meat so badly, who am I to judge you or tell you what to do?

Sure. And all black people are thieves, and all southerners are hicks, and all hispanics are illegals.

That, or you're seriously full of sh*t. But one or the other.

You need to chill out. Just because he didn't agree with you doesn't mean you need to be an a$s.

I don't have to be slandered, and neither do my friends.

People here start sh*t, I just finish it. You don't like my right to a fair reply, tough shizzle.

listen, be vegan, dont be vegan, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT! NO ONE DOES, VEGANS ALWAYS HAVE TO GO AROUND SAYING THEY'RE VEGAN, AND THEN COMPLAIN WHEN WE POINT IT OUT

I get it. Truth does kind of have that effect on those who neither read nor think. Hasta.

So you took my point about annoying vegans and made it about race. You certainly took that and ran with it. Maybe you can answer the question why are Leftists so insufferable?

I'm not a leftist. I was there in DC on 1/6. Were you?

You argue like one
0 ups, 4y,

Since that's a bullshit answer - and you're not honest enough to admit the concept of an analogy that establishes stereotypes are junk arguments - that would be you instead.

At least have the honesty to admit it when your arguments have been defeated.
0 ups, 4y,

You took a simple argument about vegans and made it about race. That's the Leftist tactic for everything. You pretend you are a conservative but you gaslight and name-call like a Leftist. My guess is you're a full of shit nasty SOB Leftist. Own it.
0 ups, 4y,
1 reply
You didn're read that dictionary definition of analogy, did you?

The comparison to race stereotypes could as easily have used religion instead, or culture, or nationality, etc etc etc.

You are definitely struggling hard with a very easy concept.

And my proud vote for Trump proves I'm not a leftist.

That proves if you're looking for someone full of shit, it would be only you left.

This doesn't take much better than about 5th grade brainpower. Just admit that analogies are different from liberal race carding, and you'll be on your way back to normal intelligence.
0 ups, 4y,

It was a shit analogy then. Kind of like your whole argument style
0 ups, 4y,

No, you just lack basic intelligent imagination. Here, let me spoon feed it to you again then:

Generalizations like yours in saying all vegans are pushy self-advertisers is like saying
* all Black people are dope dealers
* all Jews are greedy thieves
* all Italians are mobsters
* all Catholic priests are pedos
* all Protestant preachers are Jim Bakker-like thieves
* all White people are supremacists
* all Democrats are welfare-sucking slackers
* all Republicans are anti-environmentalist millionaires

All that's false, but your generalization is true? Nope. Same ridiculous stereotype generalization BS.

You have been refuted.

Try admitting it.

@datdeus below, since further reply dis-opted:

Your meme read, quote, "There's nothing wrong with veganism. It's that vegans are preachy and annoying. Keep life choices to yourself."

Not some vegans, Not even many vegans. Your wording indicates all.

If you're caught in a lie, just admit it. Till you learn how, you dishonor real conservatism.

And seriously, give up. You were stupid enough to STILL call me lefty even after I explained to you I attended the Trump rally proudly.

"Dat Deus?" Tibi dedit stoliditatem.

Learn to admit it when you're wrong.

Man up or shut up. One or the other
0 ups, 4y
You SAY you went to a Trump rally. My guess is you are a false flag Lefty. You threw in race and all the Left love issues. You've been doing nothing but name calling just as Lefties love to do. Own it.
0 ups, 4y
I never said "all". Leave it to a Lefty to make assumptions and being nasty about it.

I've been there. Though it's not for everyone it is a valid lifestyle often which can improve ones health and or is done for good hearted reasons. For myself I hit a wall after doing so for a year and a half and found I had to go back to eating eggs to retain my energy levels else experience chronic fatigue. But I am very understanding of those who still walk that walk.
[deleted]
3 ups, 6y
I,myself,am not a vegan(yet),but I highly respect that lifestyle(along with vegetarian),and have many arguments as to why humans should not eat meat.

Of course,as you said,it's not the lifestyle for everyone since the amount of carbon-hydrates,proteins etc is much smaller than that in animal products(although there are no animal-specific vitamins,minerals,carbon-hydrates etc). But if you can do it,there really is no reason why you shouldn't do it.

I'm a vegetarian but don't feel the need to preach to other people as to what they should and shouldn't eat. I think that's why a lot of people tend to hate vegans as they can be a little too self righteous and in your face about it. Everyone has different morals when it comes to animals.
[deleted]

Though I highly respect veganism and vegetarianism,I am neither(yet) and I never preach about either of the two. Who am I to tell anyone what they should (not) do?

Also,I eat less and less meat every week, but I don't think I'm superior to people who eat more meat that I do. I think veg(etari)anism is just the way of nature for humans, but if people don't want it,who am I to force them?

But you are right. A lot of vegans have a rather "holier than thou" attitude towards meat-eaters,and are very intolerant of them.
[deleted]
2 ups, 6y
I have the same approach to it. I don't think I have the right to tell anyone what they should or shouldn't eat, vegetarianism for me is a personal choice.

As long as you’re not killing it, who cares right? Wrong. Whatever you buy, you support.
[deleted]
2 ups, 6y,

I don't buy or consume anything that comes from an animal that has been killed. That's my personal choice as I personally don't think it is right to kill animals. I hope that you realise when you try to preach to others as to what they should eat it only pisses them off and does nothing to persuade them to stop eating animals.

I think people should debate without getting uncontrollably pissed off, makes for better conversation. Most people probably started off young eating whatever they liked so it is hard to just up and say, this is bad when I’ve been eating it my whole life. I used to love processed powdered sugar donuts, then I read the ingredients. :(
[deleted]

I agree :-) like everything things should be debated without getting into senseless heated arguments which really end nothing to either side of the debate. I gave up eating meat when I became a little more conscious of where it was actually coming from. I like animals, so dona't feel right about eating them especially when it is not necessary. Some people don't share this view and while I wish no one would kill or consume animals it is not for me to say what others should do with their lives. Not sure I could take the full step and become vegan though as much as I might like to.

I’m pescatarian, but I’ll probably not eat any animals at some point, but eating honey and dairy isn’t exactly eating the animal to me.

Carcass if one of my fav Death Metal bands along with Death,Obituary and Pesrilence.

As for Cattle Decapitation,I've heard about them from this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=25zjoTSfqeY but I've yet to listen to then. Can you recommend me a good song/album from them?

The Anthropocene Extinction or Monolith of Inhumanity are awesome albums, I would defiantly check them out. Their earlier stuff is way more grindy/growly, their new stuff is still that but with more melody added into the mix. You can also check out their music video for forced gender reassignment, but be warned it is F**KED UP, tbh I am suprised YouTube has not banned it...

Nothing wrong with the concept. The problem is how people exploit the concept. Vegans and vegetarians yell (figuratively) out that they're like that and why others should be that way as well. You can't force or rush concepts like these. It takes time to fully change a diet. If you force and rush the concept, people will grow hatred for it and lose interest.

You're absolutely correct! Best comment I've seen here, along with the ones by Lover_of_Truth and TimidDeer! Veganism and vegetarianism can do a lot of good for your health, but a sudden switch is all but foolish. It has to go slowly, step by step(meat twice a week-once a week-twice a month-once a month-once evevery two months etc etc until you're certain you don't need meat anymore). Like you said in your comment, sudden switch of the entire diet does no good.

Based on what? I went vegetarian all at once just fine. Couple years later I did full vegan. Still standing.
[deleted]
1 up, 6y
Well,I never meant to say that a sudden change to veg(etari)anism is harmful,it's just that if,for example, you eat meat on a relatively regular basis(every day, five times a week etc)to such a point that it can be considered a habit, you could become veg(etari)an,but you would easily go back to eating meat because of your habit of eating meat. That habit must be eliminated, and that is done by gradually decreasing the amount of the meat you consume until you feel like the habit is gone.
