WRONG! The pay raises for political appointments in the executive office were passed in 2013 under Obama and has been put on hold every year. Because the latest budget has not been approved and the raises have not been put on hold, they automatically go into effect.

The raises were passed by Congress in 2013 and Trump had nothing to do with it. In fact, he is trying to stop them from going into effect.

And it's a simple solution. Wait until there is not a shutdown on the government to enact those raises. it's a slap in the face to the government workers who aren't getting paid at this time. I know using logic in this republican regime doesn't happen too often.
