Gun control only works on people who obey the law. A wall will deter ppl trying to break the law. Keep trying to conflate the issues though. Shows that you're running out of arguments against the wall lol

Trump said we were going to build a big, beautiful, concrete wall along the southern US border and Mexico would pay for it.

Now- no one wants weak borders. But a wall along the border is a foolish way about securing the border. We have walls. And fences. And barricades, And guards, And sure...we should make the border as strong as we NEED to. There in lies the difference of opinion. Mexico IS NOT paying for the wall.... and $5 Billion in taxpayer money to build Trump's wall is not the best way to strengthen our borders. And- No amount of perceived trade in the USA favor from the USMCA agreement will mean that Mexico is paying for anything. That is private money to businesses conducting trade.

Trump can back pedal all he wants and say a "wall" is a "fence" or whatever he wants to say but that's not what he sold you. He sold you a SOUTHERN BORDER CONCRETE WALL THAT MEXICO WAS TO PAY FOR.

And he lied.

Now he wants to try to make the Dems look like THEY are the bad guys when they have offered a few plans to strengthen the border smartly with our money. Even the republicans were on board. Trump said no. He wanted the WALLLLLL.

Trump now want's to negotiate but he can;t be trusted. He needs to come to the table with a plan for better border security and immigration policies.

And "BUILD THE WALL" ain't it.

Then Trump/GOP needs to come to the table with a plan.

Build The Wall is not the plan.

PS- illegal immigration is down year over year. And many if not most fly or otherwise come in legally and overstay their visas. No wall will stop that.

We NEED TO focus efforts where they're most needed....I agree. A wall is not NEEDED. We have walls where we need them now. We have fences where they are needed. Barricades where they are needed. etc. Fill in the gaps if needed, for suree but What's NOT needed is a A to Z southern border concrete wall that will inevitably line the pockets of friends of politicians with A LOT of tax money for no good reason.

And THAT is precisely what Trump said he was going to deliver. And Mexico would pay for it. He needs to learn to negotiate. For ALL our sake he needs to.
