I couldn't care less if there is a wall or not but if Trump couldn't get it with all three branches of gov, what would make anyone think he'll get it after election results give a mandate to the Dems? The Dems have nothing to lose by waiting. Trump is on camera accepting all blame for the shut down and he'll take all the heat for it.

nobody in those 3 branches likes him. Republicans (some not all) will sometimes go his way for partys sake. I know it, he knows it, you know it. Will he hold out until it hurts this time? Maybe.
