So arrest the employers giving them jobs.

The wall supporters are unable to grasp that if you stop the employers from hiring the illegals the wall won't be needed.

I'm sure that will stop the drugs smuggling another other criminals as well as job seekers.

It won't cost much to enforce our laws against hiring illegals which could be paid for entirely by fining those employers.
An added bonus is that it can be started right away AND congress needn't get involved.
We could then use more effective methods than building a wall for the drug problem.

More law enforcement in problem areas. Stiffer penalties for drug pushers. Education. Lot of things.
The wall will not stop the flow of drugs.

Drugs come in trucks through existing border points of entry. And by boat. And plane. A wall would have little effect on drugs.
