If you want people to recycle make it SAVE them money!

I recall there was a time when we did get a little change for bottles and cans.

Still do in some states

Some items specifically you can usually find a place to recycle for a little pocket change. Like cans or glass bottles. Other things like most plastics or newspaper and cardboard they charge. If people thought they could make a buck off of their would-be garbage I know more people would recycle.

Crazy! I hadn't heard about that. I can see where people would do it though.
