They actually are. You can't sell one without them.

quite the contrary.. seatbelts are essential.. The government is bloated with lots of non'essential personnel. You can drive a car without 3rd row seating, extra cup holders, metallic paint, running boards or an air freshener.

No, seatbelts are mandatory by law. But not needed for the car to run.

Buy a 55 Chevy. Runs just fine without them. Hell, buy a 2019 Chevy and take them out. Will still run but you’ll get fined if caught.

You'd like to think that government employees are seat belts.. but in fact many of them are air fresheners.. the ones that are seat belts are still working.. hence they are essential.. i'm not saying it's the workers fault either.. they were hired by a government that can operate without them.. they just wanted a job..

take out the seatbelts and the car still runs. Keep them and it's safer. Better.

Take out the air freshener and the car still runs. Crack the windows when you drive for a few minutes and you don't need one. Sell the car and buy a new one it doesn't use as much gas. DRAIN THE SWAMP.
