I'm always amazed at how conservatives can't do math. What you're quoting is the "study" that the Federation for American Immigration Reform (or FAIR) put out.
By their own account, the FedGov spends $8000 per immigrant family per year. That money is distributed to the States. FAIR then counts that money again as state expenditures.
Then FAIR uses peak immigrant numbers that are way out of date at 12 million. Not 12 million families but 12 million people (parents & children). Not the current as of 2016 numbers.
So, FAIR takes that double counted money and applies it to 12 million people, now suddenly assuming those are 12 million families. Arriving at a massively inflated number.
Like I said, conservatives can't do math.
But on top of that. You'd rather build a giant useless wall than feed and shelter other human beings. Even though that's exactly what the Bible says you're supposed to do.
Y'all don't know how to count AND you're hypocrites about what you say you believe.
