The biggest problem with Communism is that by making it so it's a classless society you destroy any incentive to work harder and this leads to a government that is stagnated both socially and economically.

I think the biggest problem is that it is rare for a government to be so honest that it equally distributes goods and money. Those with power will almost always take more. As for the semi communism in China, it isn't really communism, more like authoritarian capitalism, it is working quite well. That being said I prefer our form of govt.

This ideology had SOOOOOOOO many opportunities to prove itself to work, and failed miserably each time,, going down the road of dictatorships!

...Okay... I still am a capitalist and democratic republican through and through. NEVER will I EVER support socialism or communism of any kind anywhere! I get that corruption exists in politics, okay? It's GOING to happen! Getting rid of an economic and government system and replacing both with another however is just going to open a new can of worms.

Trickle down economics works as well as communism yet the Republicans still believe in it.

Trickle down economics involve giving tax breaks to already wealthy people and corporations in the hopes they will spend that money and stimulate the economy.

What happens is they just save the money and add it to their coffers. Which only benefits them because the money never gets spent and put into the economy.

No economy is perfect, but the United States has one of, if not the best, economy in the world. Our poorest states have better economy than most of Europe.

Tell that to those living in poverty. Sure, poverty here isn't as bad as poverty in any 3rd world country. But those in poverty still exist in this country and they have little to nothing they can do about that. It's a thing we REALLY need to crack down on before it gets any worse.

You see, your mentality is that if you're in poverty, it's the government's fault or it's the government's job to get you out of it. That's the typical leftist-marxist thinking.

The United States has the most opportunity for all citizens, no matter your sex, race, or background to become successful. Anyone can be successful and anyone can get out of poverty. The only one holding you back is yourself. Some become more successful than others, but even the poorest citizens in this country are wealthier than the poorest citizens in most every other country.

It'll work. We just need to climb those stairs slowly. Very slowly. If we climb those stairs too fast, the stairs will break and we'll fall on our asses

Except it has been tried MULTIPLE times, and they took it slow, and still failed epically. Not only that, but it was actually FORCED upon countries that were once upon a time capitalist democracies. If modern socialists picked up and actually read history books, they might or might not realize they were longing for a utopia that could never work. Don't get me wrong: Marx had his heart in the right place FOR HIS DAY. His ideas were just flawed to the core. Furthermore, we learned from our mistakes and made amends across the board: Industries have standards now that are heavily monitored, We actually listen to both sides of the work isle, etc. And with these changes, we were able to do things like no other, including getting to the moon. Why through away all that? Socialism takes away from those that work hard, and makes them work less, and for good reason: Why work hard when you can't keep your just reward?

I'd put anime and socialist communism at the same level. Especially since I had an experience with an actual weeaboo.

I don't agree with communism. It is awfully utopian. But it wasn't done correctly. Not in Russia, not in China. It wasn't done how Marx wanted it.
